Polo is played July 15 through September 15 at the farm. Teams from eight mid-western cities play in our low goal league. Polo lessons and student memberships in the USPA and Madison Polo club are available.
The Madison Polo Club
The Madison Polo Club is one of a dozen Midwestern polo clubs and an official member of the United States Polo Association. Founded thirty years ago by Jack Chopp, the Club has twenty members and numerous students involved in its activities.
The Club offers a beginning player program, subsidized by the USPA, that provides lessons and ponies for student members. A student member can be any age and be a student for one calendar year.
Madison Polo plays regularly against Milwaukee, Peoria, Minneapolis, Quad-Cities, Batavia, Sioux Falls, Stonebank and other clubs, scheduling both home and away games during the summer.
There is no charge to spectate at practices, scrimmages and games, unless the game is a fundraiser. Sponsorships and group attendance can be organized.
