Our Rooms
The Warming Room
The warming room is a common room featuring a large fireplace, comfortable furniture and books. The room is also used for breakfast. The mule chest and cherry table were made in the 1820s, the registration desk about 1860, salvaged from Bible Hill House, Maine. The pine floor and hemlock ceiling date from the early 1800s. Wall sconces are reproductions of sconces found in Barnard’s Tavern and Hall’s Tavern in Massachusetts.
The Oak Room
The oak room is a first floor room with double bed, a large bathroom and whirlpool. The bedroom set is typical Wisconsin oak furniture from the last decade of the nineteenth century. The maps on the wall are of Wisconsin counties and towns from 1883.
The Cherry Room
The cherry room is a second floor room with a queen bed and Wisconsin made cherry furniture. The walls are decorated with antique floral prints. The tiled bathroom has a tub and shower.
The Children’s Room
The children’s room welcomes small guests. The box bed was made in Germantown Wisconsin in 1860. Games and toys can be found in the bench seat.
The Horse Barn
The horse barn and arena are open to visitors, but please arrange for a guide and review the NOTES TO VISITORS found in your room. Check for our schedule of special events.
